WESTMINSTER CLOISTERS: A CENTER FOR CREATIVE SPIRIT PRESENTS

You are invited to participate in Westminster Cloisters’ 4th biennial fine arts show,
to be part of this celebration of the gifts of creativity.
Gala Opening Artists Reception – Saturday, February 25, 7pm
Plan to join us for a fun and colorful evening celebrating your art, live music,
and a silent auction. This year’s show opening theme will celebrate the traditions of Asian art and craft. A portion of the proceeds from the Gala Opening Artists Reception will be donated to
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance for victims of the Japanese tsunami.

Participating Artist Information
We are so glad that you will show artwork in Westminster Cloisters’ 4th biennial arts show, and we are sure that you will enjoy being part of this celebration of the gifts of creativity.
A few important details:
Deliver art Thursday, February 23 Between 9am and 6pm
Pick up art Sunday, March 4, 12:30 - 2:30pm and Monday, March 5, 9am - 12pm (or by special arrangement)
Westminster Church, 1624 NE Hancock St. Portland, OR 97212
There is a parking lot on the north side of the building on NE Hancock, 2 blocks north of Broadway. Enter through the double doors beneath the awning. Come up the stairs to the 2nd floor. If your pieces are large or heavy you may arrange to unload at the elevator entrance at the southwest corner of the building on 16th and take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
All art work must be framed and wired for hanging, or otherwise ready for presentation at time of delivery. Please know that we will make every attempt to secure the art, but it is hung at your own risk.

Price list and contact information for display in the Gallery Book if you like
Any item you might be donating to the Silent Auction
Art ID Tag firmly secured to the back of each piece
Each artist may submit up to 5 pieces. We will provide a Gallery Book for artist statements and resumes submitted by the artist on 8 ½ x 11 paper. Art will be labeled with the name of the work and the artist. Because our emphasis is on individual creativity rather than market value, art will not be priced with the piece. But feel welcome to include a price list and contact information with your Artist Statement to be included in the Gallery Book. Guests may then contact you directly regarding art purchase. You may keep 100% of the sale.
